Jeanette is a two-time Emmy Award winning on-camera consumer and investigative reporter producing over 8,500 news stories. From 2000 to 2008, she was the chief consumer reporter for CBS 5 in San Francisco. Her money-saving segments became the backbone to her 30-minute consumer show, The Real Deal. This Emmy nominated show ran for 7 years on CBS 5, 3 years on NBC Bay Area, and is the recipient of 8 Press Club Awards for Best Program.

 

Jeanette has been a featured guest contributor for The Today Show, as well as other network TV shows. She is an on-camera contributor to The Better Show, Hallmark Home & Family, the Wall Street Journal Digital Network, USA Today and their video network.

 

Jeanette is a columnist for MarketWatch, The Wall Street Journal Sunday, The Huffington Post, and Better Homes & Gardens. Jeanette co-authored "Raising Baby Green," recipient of the Nautilus Gold Medal Book Award and The Library Journal.

 

She serves on the board of the California Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and Get Lit, a non-profit bringing literature to inner city schools.
